§ 02 · El terreno

Why it's hard to find a good manufacturer

Most people start blind and learn through expensive mistakes.

  1. 01

Factories that don't reply, or take weeks to.

  2. 02

Sky-high minimums you can't take on from the start.

  3. 03

No catalogue or clear samples of what they make.

  4. 04

Prices that change once you're already committed.

  5. 05

Zero traceability of where and how it's produced.

With the right questions, you can filter them in a week.

§ 03 · Qué incluimos

How to choose
the right manufacturer

Four steps to get it right with whoever makes your brand.

Step / 01

Define your garment

Be clear on garment type, quantity, quality and budget before you email anyone.

Step / 02

Ask for a catalogue and sample

A good manufacturer sends you a catalogue or swatch and a sample before producing.

Step / 03

Compare lead times and minimums

Ask for the real lead time, the minimum per style and whether you can mix sizes and colours.

Step / 04

Lock the price in writing

Pricing at 25, 50 and 100 units in writing, with no surprises once you're in.

§ 04 · Why work with us

What to look for in a manufacturer

01

Response

Fast and clear

If they take weeks to answer an enquiry, they'll be slow on your production too.

02

Catalogue

Brands and samples

They should show which fabrics and brands they work with, not a generic "whatever you want".

03

Minimums

That fit you

Low minimums if you're starting, with room to grow, not thousands of units up front.

04

Proximity

Factory you can reach

Producing close by (the EU) shortens lead times and lets you fix samples without losing months.
